Flight from Santorini to Athens was at 7:25 am, so we won’t up at 4:30 to finish packing and prepare for the long trip ahead.
Walking up the stairs to get to the square where our transportation would meet us.
Ride to the airport
Finally on the plane but I wasn’t having it. The insanely long waiting lines to drop off our luggage was miserable. Why does it take 3 adults to check in a minor? It should only require 1, the parent or legal guardian. There were two check in lines and one baggage drop off line and these dumbasses took 20 minutes to check their little girl in in the wrong line! What’s even dumber is the baggage lady didn’t move the group to a check in line for further assistance. How do you come to the airport so unprepared? Everyone was getting really annoyed.
The flight was only half an hour and I got my cookie! We arrived in Athens around 8 am.
It took almost half an hour to retrieve our bags in the baggage claim in Athens. So slooow…
Our next flight to Paris didn’t board until 11:50am so we had a few hours to kill. Baggage drop off here didn’t open until 10am for our flight.
Dropped off our baggage and heading straight for McDonalds! The first and last McDonalds we’ve seen in Greece. Can you spot the amazingness?
A Double McMuffin! Yup…2 sausage patties. It was glorious!
Neat ketchup package design for no messiness.
McCafe serves espresso and other drinks.
Waiting at the gate to board.

Heading to next plane
I couldn’t get picture of our plane, so I took a picture of the plane next to ours.

The overcast over the Bay Area.
We made it home!
