Breakfast – V.I.P. Restaurant
Croissant, waffle (tasted like the waffle from Blue Bottle but with more crunch), pig in a blanket, some kind of breakfast thing that tasted like a lesser sweat version of baklava, bacon, a fried egg, and pomegranate juice.
Some kind of smoked fish, cheese, meat roll, salami, fried egg, scrambled eggs, bacon, bread, and kiwi.
Some traditional Greek breakfast items, Tahini bar, cherries, grapefruit, and more smoked fish.
The powdered donut was good
All of the rooms we booked include complimentary breakfast. So exciting and happy!
Aqua Marine Spa
We enjoyed the Honeymoon package in the spa that included these.
A plate of strawberries on top of strawberry mousse and chocolate dipping sauce. Bonnie told me that I snored during the massage a few times and I told her I heard her snore a couple of times. Haha.
Dinner – Avli Tou Thodori
A panorama from their patio
Bread with a black bean spread, olive oil, and herb butter.
Orange blossom – Gin, fresh orange juice, and Greek honey
A guy with a Superman tattoo on his back.
Bonnie doesn’t eat the tails of the anchovies for some reason. /shrug
Finish him! Fatality!
Chicken Souvlaki with fries and tzatziki
Lobster and orzo
Cheesecake with chopped walnuts and Greek honey on the house.
Pavlova – Meringue, homemade whipped cream, strawberries, and strawberry syrup.
Mastika – a liqueur seasoned with mastic, a resin gathered from the mastic tree, a small evergreen tree native to the Mediterranean region.
It was on the house so we took three shots. Now Bonnie is hella drunk. Mastika is minimum 37.5% ABV and at most 50% ABV hahahaha.
